Mordekaiser, the Master of Metal

Mordekaiser is a tanky ability power mid or top lane champion who has an ultimate and passive that make him one of the best 1v2 champions in the game. He pushes well and can out farm many opponents in lane.  

Mordekaiser has an auto attack melee range, and if you know the range of his siphon of destruction, you can generally avoid taking damage while farming.  Pick a long range caster who can hurt him without taking damage, or otherwise bursty champions.  When he uses his ultimate on you, the best idea is to leave the fight.  If you die and become his ghost in a team fight, not only will you not be able to help your team, but you will be fighting against them.  So harass him early and keep up with his farm, and if you get an advantage, zone him out.  He also has no escape other than flash, so he is prone to jungle ganks.

- Getting an ghost from his ultimate, Children of the Grave can win a team fight

- He has huge burst damage and area of effect

- His passive sheild is often forgotten and can provide great baits when he is low health, or keep him alive in fights

- Building spell vamp makes his abilities have practically no cost

- He is weak early game and in lane phase, especially until he gets spell vamp since his abilities cost health

- He has no crowd control, and is heavily affected by it  

- He has short range for a caster, and a melee attack range
